Elementor Plugin Development for Custom Widgets and Integrations
Elementor plugin development for requirements the defaults don't cover.
When the standard features aren't enough, hechenbros builds custom widgets, form actions, and API integrations directly for your Elementor editor. You get exactly the feature your site and business processes need, without a bulky add-on full of parts you'll never use.
What you get
Built directly into the editor
Widgets, settings, and new features appear right in the familiar Elementor interface.
Connected to your systems
CRM, ticketing systems, WooCommerce, and custom APIs get connected in a targeted way.
Built to fit exactly
You get the feature you actually need, not an oversized package full of unused parts.
Elementor covers most typical needs — until it doesn't
Maybe a form needs to send data to an external system. An existing widget needs extra settings. Content needs to load from an API. In these situations, teams often install a large add-on for one missing feature — and end up with a pile of components the site never actually uses.
The integration you need is missing
Elementor doesn't support the CRM, ticketing system, or internal tool you need it to.
A standard widget isn't enough
The display, data source, or interaction doesn't fit what you actually need it to do.
The workflow stays manual
Form data has to be transferred, checked, or processed by hand.
An add-on brings too much baggage
For one specific feature, you'd end up installing a whole set of extra widgets and scripts.
Show us the current situation and describe the result you want. We'll check how it can be built into Elementor.
Off-the-shelf add-on or custom development
A custom build isn't necessary for every requirement. If an existing extension fully covers the need, it can be the better choice — so we check what already exists first.
Off-the-shelf Elementor add-on
Often ships with plenty of widgets you'll never use, only offers its own predefined settings, rarely covers special business processes fully, and often only integrates external systems in roundabout ways.
Custom Elementor development
Focuses on exactly the feature you need, adds matching settings in the editor, can talk to external APIs directly, and fits your existing design.
What we build for Elementor
Our Elementor development covers visible widgets as well as features that process data or connect Elementor to other systems.
Custom Elementor widgets
New content and function elements with their own editor settings, responsive output, and dynamic content — calculators, filters, comparison elements, or product views, for example.
Extensions for existing widgets
Depending on how a widget is built, it can be extended with extra controls, new data sources, or project-specific behaviour.
Custom Elementor form actions
After a submission on an Elementor Pro form, data can be processed server-side, sent to external systems, or trigger follow-up actions.
API integrations
Connects your site to CRM systems, ticketing systems, or internal applications — including authentication, field mapping, and error handling.
Custom Elementor controls
Custom fields and settings in the editor — text and selection fields, repeatable content, conditional settings, design and layout options.
WooCommerce extensions
Display and process product data, pricing, or shop functions in Elementor in a custom way.
Case study: a Freshdesk integration for an Elementor form
Elementor Pro provided the form itself, but the process after submission went beyond what it could do out of the box. Incoming requests needed to become Freshdesk tickets automatically, form fields needed flexible mapping, and successful submissions needed reliable confirmation. So we built an Elementor Pro extension that adds Freshdesk as its own post-submission action.
Visitor submits the form
A visitor submits the Elementor form.
Fields get mapped
The extension maps the submitted fields to the corresponding Freshdesk fields.
Ticket gets created
The ticket is created server-side via the Freshdesk API.
Confirmed tracking
The conversion event only fires once Freshdesk confirms the ticket was created — so the measurement is based on the actual outcome in the target system, not just the form's visible success message.

How it works
Clarify the requirement
You explain what feature is missing, who will use it, and what result it should achieve.
Check existing options
We check whether Elementor, Elementor Pro, or an extension already in use can cover the need. We only recommend a custom build when it offers a clear advantage for the specific task.
Create a technical concept
We define the required editor controls, data flows, interfaces, and output rules.
Build the Elementor extension
The feature gets built as a custom widget, form action, integration, or project-specific plugin.
Test the behaviour
Before handover, we test the editor experience, the front-end display, and all relevant flows — for API integrations, also responses and possible connection failures.
Deploy and explain
Once approved, the extension gets deployed to the site. You get a clear walkthrough of configuration and usage.
What we pay attention to during development
Familiar to use
Settings appear directly in the Elementor editor and stay easy for editors to follow.
Secure processing
Input gets validated, and sensitive API data is handled securely through WordPress.
Clear feedback
Errors, invalid data, and failed connections are handled in a controlled way.
Built to extend
The technical structure accounts for later adjustments and additional features.
We look at your technical baseline and discuss which approach fits the feature you need.
Frequently asked
What custom Elementor widgets can you build?
We build new widgets with their own editor settings, dynamic content, and a front-end output that fits your existing design.
Can existing Elementor widgets be extended?
It depends on the technical structure of the specific widget. We check whether additional controls or features can be added, or whether a separate element makes more sense.
Can you connect Elementor to an external API?
An Elementor API integration can fetch data, send information, and trigger defined actions. We account for authentication, field mapping, and possible error cases.
Is a custom Elementor form action possible?
For Elementor Pro forms, we can build additional post-submission actions. That lets you forward submissions to a CRM, ticketing system, or internal application, for example.
Which WooCommerce features can be extended with Elementor?
Product data, variants, pricing, and specific shop flows can all be built into custom Elementor features.
Does this always require a new plugin?
Not always. Depending on the requirement, a standalone Elementor plugin, a custom widget, or a targeted addition to an existing feature can be the right fit.
What do you need for an initial assessment?
A short description of the current situation, the result you want, and details of any plugins or external systems involved are helpful.
Can an existing development be reworked?
We can review existing code and the Elementor interfaces it uses. From there, we can assess what corrections or adjustments are needed.
Built properly for WordPress and Elementor
A new feature needs to work reliably and be easy to understand. We tailor development to your site, your existing plugins, and how it'll actually be used.
