Business Websites
Custom-built business websites — Astro or Next.js by default, WordPress or Payload CMS only where you actually need a CMS.
Most business websites don't fail on design — they fail on the structure underneath: bloated page builders, generic themes, unclear architecture, or a CMS that never actually gets used. By default, we build custom sites with a modern framework — usually Astro or Next.js — fast, lean, and without plugin or CMS overhead you don't need. WordPress, or a modern headless CMS like Payload, comes into play specifically when you, or your team, need to edit content yourselves on an ongoing basis — in that case we set up a clean custom setup instead of a page-builder stack.
That includes migrations — from Joomla, ageing WordPress builds, or other systems — without losing content, rankings, or existing URLs. Specialised cases like real-estate sites with automated listing sync (WP-ImmoMakler) or course platforms for online training are part of our regular work, and are exactly the cases where WordPress is genuinely the right tool.

Frequently asked
Do you build every website on WordPress?
No — that's changed. By default we build custom sites with a modern framework like Astro or Next.js, which is faster, leaner, and without plugin dependencies. We use WordPress, or a headless CMS like Payload, specifically when you need to edit content yourself on an ongoing basis — new pages, blog posts, a non-technical team. Even then, we build a clean custom setup, not a page-builder stack.
How do I edit content if it's not built on WordPress?
For most custom-built sites, small updates — text, images — go through us quickly, since there's no CMS to maintain. If you need to publish content yourself regularly, that's exactly the case where we'd recommend WordPress or Payload instead.
What's the difference between WordPress and Payload?
WordPress is the safer default if you want a huge plugin ecosystem and don't mind PHP underneath. Payload is a modern, code-first headless CMS — TypeScript-based, a cleaner data model, and it pairs naturally with a Next.js or Astro frontend. We pick based on your team's needs, not habit.
Do you migrate from Joomla or other legacy systems?
Yes. We've handled migrations from Joomla and other CMSs to WordPress, including content, images, and existing URLs.
What does a business website cost?
It depends on scope. After a short intro call, you'll get a concrete, no-obligation estimate.
