tap to bpm grew out of a simple idea: instead of looking up or calculating a song's tempo, you just tap along to the beat — the app measures the time between taps and works out the beats per minute (BPM). Three taps is enough for a reading; after a 2-second pause, tapping again resets the counter.
The app runs on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, as well as Android, and is funded through Google AdMob — completely free, with no in-app purchases or subscription.
