QRcard Cloud extends the existing QRcard app with an optional cloud account. The app's offline QR code has to encode all data directly in the code itself — a full profile photo would make the code too dense to scan reliably. With a Cloud account, card data is stored server-side instead, which is what makes a real profile photo possible as part of a QRcard.
It also lets the same QRcard follow you across devices: after signing in with the same Cloud account on a second phone or tablet, your card is available there automatically, with no need to redo the setup.
Later releases are planned to add analytics — from a simple scan and download count up to wiring in Google Analytics — along with custom subdomains and individual branding. QRcard Cloud is currently in active development; anyone interested can join the waitlist for early access to the beta.
